'Jos Holland - Master of Edingale' by Brian Robinson. Jos Holland's life spanned most of the 20th Century. He was an 'old-fashioned' horseman and renowned breeder of Shire horses who retired at the age of 94. Jos's horses were often exported and even found their way into the Royal Household.
'A Year with the Kentucky Draft Horse Association' by Rick Conley A 'round up of the events' enjoyed by the members, such as their Spring Field Day and a 'wagon train' weekend - the only qualification to join is a love of draft horses.
'La Route du Poisson - The British Team Joins the Race to Paris' by Sue Wingate. Every two years an extraordinary race takes place in Northern France to celebrate the role of draught horses in transporting fresh fish from coast to capital. Last September the British sent a team for the first time, who found it to be a challenging experience!
'Tom Sampson - A Dedicated Horseman'
Tom Sampson worked with horses all his life on the farm where he grew up. He became a great champion of Percheron horses and established a tradition still carried on by his family today.
