WINNER OF OUR COMPETITION FOR AN A. I. SERVICE

COURTESY OF TULLAGHANSLEEK STUD

Louise Williams from Congleton in Cheshire was amazed to hear that she was the winner of our most unusual competition and was especially pleased since her mare was just about ready for breeding. Originally the prize offered was an A.I. Service to the T.E. Stallion Widen Cliff but when Louise said that she had been hoping to send the T.B. mare 'Secret Velvet' to an Irish Draught stallion this year, Tullaghansleek Stud promised to accommodate her. Fortunately they have a super grey I.D. Stallion called Star Kingdom and his semen was brought to the U.K. by Tim Carey personally. We are now waiting with fingers crossed to hear whether Secret Velvet is in foal. She is a 10 year old mare who has already had at least four foals and her owner Louise is hoping for a horse with enough quality to show in hunter classes, but one that will jump too!

We will keep you posted...
