 Recently
some friends told me that they had some rather remarkable photos
to show me… but I was completely
unprepared for their content!

and Gordon frequently visit a part of Provence to ‘house sit’ for
the owners – and during their stay they were required to take
care of various animals including Jericho, an elderly Camargue
horse and some donkeys. They were told that there was a daily visitor
to the pastures -a young wild boar! Not only was Jericho unconcerned
by this but he and the young boar developed an amazing relationship
of complete trust and could be seen grazing nose to nose and
even more astonishing,
lying down together. The donkey also joined in playing games with
the boar. |
